We take the Emirates’ morning flight from
Dubai

at 11.40 am
Private transfer to our hotel.

Day 02
(Mon. 31 March)
Our Day in Amman
We take in the city sights with a morning visit to the National
Archaeological Museum , the Roman Theatre and Darat al Funun,
‘Home for the Arts’. afternoon is ours to design, choose one of
the following: try the local cuisine with a traditional falafel
lunch at Jabal
Amman and finish your day with a private guided walk of
ancient Amman’s streets; travel north to the ancient Roman city
of Jerash to explore one of the most well preserved ancient
Roman cities in the world. This evening you are invited to
experience the warm hospitality of a Jordanian family for dinner
(B,L).

Amman — Petra
Visit the beautiful mosaics of
Madaba,
Mt. Nebo with its spectacular views of the Jordan Valley and the
ancient crusader castles of Umm Rassas, Mukawar and Kerak
enroute (B,L).

Day 04
(Wed. 02 April) Petra
A full day allows you time to savour the many wonders of this
ancient ‘ Rose
Red City ’, with tombs, temples and exquisite monuments
hewn from solid mountain rock. Sights include the Treasury,
accessed through the narrow ‘siq’, the Roman Theatre , the
Corinthian, Palace Tombs and the Roman Road . In the afternoon
you will have the opportunity to climb the 1,200 steps to the
impressive Monastery with spectacular views over Petra and the
Negev Desert (B,L).

Day 05 (Thur. 03 April)
Your private Day Petra
Today we decide how we would like to explore further. Choose 3
of the following: return to Petra again this morning for a
further half day of exploration; drive south into the desert to
visit and explore by 4WD Wadi Rum, with its dramatic landscapes
associated with ‘Lawrence
of Arabia’; visit the home of a Bedouin family for a
traditional Arabic coffee; return to Petra’s ancient city in the
evening to view the city lights (Monday & Thursdays only); or
learn to cook Arabian dishes alongside local women at Petra
Kitchen (dinner included) (B).

Petra — Bethany —
Dead Sea
Travel to Bethany , an ancient Baptism site and to the
Dead Sea .
Your afternoon is at leisure to relax in your resort surrounds
(B).

Our day is at leisure to float in the
Dead Sea .
At 410m below sea level, the
Dead Sea
is the lowest place on earth. A place of calm and spirituality,
the high levels of salt in the water keeps you buoyant whilst
the variety of minerals including magnesium, sodium, potassium
and bromine are believed to have positive health benefits (B).

Today we return’ to Amman airport where we wish you an
