Sahara Highlights Tour: 12 Days The itinerary for this tour is the same as for the first 9 days of our 18-day Sahara Explorer and Roman Cities of Antiquity tour. Then:

Day 10, Murzuk Sand sea and Wadi Mathendush: Depart the Murzuk sand sea for Wadi Mathendush. See the splendid rock carvings before journeying to the "royal" cemetery of the great Garamantian Empire. Return to Terkirkiba.

Day 11, Gharyan, Tropoli: Return to Tripoli via Gharyan. See the troglodyte dwellings.

Day 12, Djerba: Drive from Tripoli to Djerba airport.

World War II Highlights Tour: 12 Days The itinerary for this tour is similar to that of our 17-day Ancient Sites and World War II Tour, but with the following changes:

Day 3 in Cairo is skipped.

Day 8 we visit Derna and Rommel's hideaway and on

Day 9 we visit Cyrene, returning to Tobruk in the evening.

Day 10 we return to Mersa Matruh.

Day 11 we return to Cairo.

Transfer to airport on Day 12.
